I have been feeling an intense yearning for Haiti lately. With the holidays coming up, immediately I thought to assuage my feelings by making some Cremasse (for those of you not in the know, Cremasse is sorta like egg nog, or punch-de-creme for my Trinis out there). My problem? I have never made it in my life! LOL
Now I live in Brooklyn, so theoretically, I could probably go down Nostrand and find a place that has pre-made Cremasse. But I don’t believe in that. So I did some google searches and came up with these two gems:
I love that both recipes are slightly different. I think I will come up with my ideal Cremasse if I land somewhere in the middle.
